Rolex TP 52 World Championship – Mallorca – 2-6 November
Saturday 6th November 2021. The season has just ended for these 52-footers with the class’s World Championship in Mallorca, Spain. Ten turned out for the meeting including Andres Soriano’s Alegre and Vladimir Liubomirov’s Bronenosec Gazprom, both from Yacht Club de Monaco. At the end of eight races, Alegre came 5th ahead of Bronenosec Gazprom, which means the two YCM members retain their 5th and 6th overall ranking respectively for the season after three events. Note too the presence of Federico Michetti aboard Quantum which came 2nd in the World Championship and for the season.
