Optimist – Southern League Cup Final – Saint-Raphaël | 21-22 May 2022

 

Sunday 22nd May 2022. Well represented with 11 sailors (most of them regatta beginners), Yacht Club de Monaco entered the ring without missing a beat in this Southern League Final. A 12/20 knot breeze settled in for the Saturday, allowing the Race Committee to hold four back-to-back races in the Minime and three in the younger Benjamin group. A category in which Alexandra Santelli proved relentlessly combative as evidenced by her 4th place in the overall ranking, 2nd in the girls. In the Minime, Alexandre Pompée did well to come 15th ahead of Ludovica Bonelli, 20th.
