Optimist – Southern League Cup Final – Saint-Raphaël | 21-22 May 2022

Sunday 22^nd May 2022. Well represented with 11 sailors (most of them regatta beginners), Yacht Club de Monaco entered the ring without missing a beat in this Southern League Final. A 12/20 knot breeze settled in for the Saturday, allowing the Race Committee to hold four back-to-back races in the Minime and three in the younger Benjamin group. A category in which Alexandra Santelli proved relentlessly combative as evidenced by her 4^th place in the overall ranking, 2^nd in the girls. In the Minime, Alexandre Pompée did well to come 15^th ahead of Ludovica Bonelli, 20^th.
