Vela d’Epoca di Imperia – 8-11 September 2022
Sunday 11th September 2022. Twenty-three editions and not a wrinkle for this Mediterranean classic. Once again, YCM made a good impression judging by the victory of the gaff cutter Tuiga. The 15M IR Club Ambassador ousted the competition in the Big Boats class, taking 1st place a comfortable six points ahead of her rivals. Carlo Falcone’s Mariella, a 1938 Fife design which won the 2021 Monaco Classic Week Trophy came 3rd. In the overall ranking all categories combined of the Spirit of Tradition, Tuiga came 17th with Mariella, 30th. In a few days, the classic fleet heads for the Régates Royales in Cannes.
