Timed to coincide with World Boating Day on 23 May, the Cluster Yacht Monaco is holding its annual Spring Pop-Up at the Yacht Club de Monaco on Thursday 21 May that will gather key players in the Monegasque nautical sector. Brokers, owners, yachting businesses and professionals will be involved in talks focused on market trends, with opportunities to visit a range of yachts moored in the YCM Marina.

Open Discussions on trends in the industry

A key element of the Spring Pop-Up, this year the exchanges will focus on current transformations in the yachting market starting with a session entitled Yachting in Transition: Growth Strategies in a Changing Market. There will also be a Cluster Talk led by Fountaine Pajot, followed by a discussion on the rise in popularity of catamarans and their influence on usage and design in the nautical industry.

Yachts open to professionals and their guests

The Spring Pop-Up is also an opportunity for Cluster Yachting Monaco members and their guests to discover a range of yachts moored in the YCM Marina with tours arranged throughout the day. The vessels involved include:

Cluster Yachting Monaco mobilises for World Boating Day

On Saturday 23 May, the Cluster Yachting Monaco extends its support for World Boating Day with several meetings arranged in the Principality, starting at Sanlorenzo MED before other activities organised by the Yacht Club de Monaco between Quai Lucciana and Boulevard Louis II.

 

These include the Sketch to Reality experience, led by the renowned naval architect Espen Øino, to learn more about the different stages in yacht design from the initial sketches to a tour of the completed yacht.

 

YCM’s La Belle Classe Academy training centre also has a number of presentations arranged on yachting professions and training courses. Finally, it will all be part of the Fête de la Mer organised by Yacht Club de Monaco which is open to the public to come and try a whole range of nautical activities, workshops and sea-related entertainments.
