Every year to close the season, HSH Prince Albert II pays tribute to the Club’s sailors at the YCM Awards for the UBS trophy which recognises young competitors in the Sports Section, as well as members and owner/helmsmen who are competing at the highest level.
Prizes are awarded in two categories: the YCM Youth Awards (Optimist, ILCA and Kite categories) and the YCM Awards for society members who have best defended the Club’s flag during the regatta season.
Rules
Reminder: Every year to round off the season, Yacht Club de Monaco and its President HSH Prince Albert II pay tribute to its sailors at the YCM Awards which includes the coveted UBS Trophy. These reward young competitors in the Sports Section as well as members, owners/helmsmen, who are racing at the highest level as true ambassadors of the Club.
Selection criteria:
Be an Active or Associate Member of the Club
Have obtained at least three significant results during the year
Have raced in regattas, ideally as helmsman
Be registered under the YCM flag
Display the “MON” sail number
Participating regularly in regattas organised by the Club is an additional advantage
