ILCA – Grand Prix de l’Armistice – Hourtin – 28-31 October
Tuesday 31st October 2023. Well accustomed to leading roles, Monegasque Jérémy Moutout ended the year in style with another victory to add to his tally in the ILCA 7 class. In the top four of seven races the sailor swept to the top ahead of Caledonian Etienne Le Pen. “Conditions were rough all week, it was intense but I am happy to finish first,” said Jérémy. “This has been great preparation before the next major event which is the World Championship (24-31 January 2024) in Adelaide in Australia”.
Davide Marino, another sailor from Yacht Club de Monaco’s Sports Section came 16th in the same class. In the younger group, Mathis Duplomb was impressive clinching a superb 4th out of a 117-strong fleet. Not far behind Noah Garcia finished 10th. Louise Debeaumont and Namu van Der Linden were 16th and 26th in the silver.
